So let me introduce myself. My name is Marceau and I assume inquiring minds want to know how to pronounce this name of mine, well I'll give you hint. Most people have to say "POLO" at the end! Yes, I'm a portrait photographer and blogger based in Munster, Indiana named Marceau (pronounced "Marco").
Psst. Honestly, I don't get offended if you have to get it out of your system and say, "Marco Polo" it's been with me forever. However, being the creative genius that I "think" I am, I decided to put "Photeau" at the end of my name. You know to give it that extra flare, that cool flow, that aha moment! Okay you get the picture, right? Since I'm proud of my name, and have a passion for photography from the time I was a little girl taking hundreds of pictures with my Kodak film camera, the two names together seemed to have a harmonious tone and fit.
Now that we've gotten a little more acquainted, here are some fun facts you should know about me.

Fact #2 - I'm a health-conscious addict and a turkey, taco lover like no other.
Fact #3 - Never embarrassed to take off running when a bumblebee presents itself to me.
Fact #4 - Obsessed with Target, minimalism, photography, interested in Ayurveda medicine which dates back to India some thousands of years ago way before modern medicine. I consider myself to be a yoga enthusiast.
Fact #5 - A proud graduate from Purdue University Calumet's School of Liberal Arts and Social Science. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Media-Broadcast Communications, and have had the chance to assist on photo-shoots, work as a production assistant on a documentary, and intern with Big Shoulders Digital Video Productions in Chicago.
Fact #6 - I'm a proud mommy of an inquisitive 1 year old baby boy.
I'm still imagining the day when I can take my camera and travel to South America to visit Brazil, Argentina, and to Central America.
With all that being said, I'm always striving to find ways to stay connected to the Creator, I want my spiritual journey to be a journey of discovery as well as a journey of recovery.
